This site is in tribute to John Quinn who tragically lost his life in July of 2010. John was an avid photographer and had a keen eye and special talent for capturing the beauty and enchanting countryside of his native Ireland. It is also a resource so people can view the many sites and photographic works that John had online and a place where family and friends can post their own photographs and memories of John.

I met John a few times last year and it was only recently I heard of
his passing. I was so shocked to hear the news and I just wanted to
extend my sympathies to his family. I hope you don’t find the coming
weeks over Christmas too difficult. John was obviously held in high
regard by many and I will remember him fondly.

Hi, I knew John from the tennis club and I would always chat to him
about his recent hikes – I am so sorry to hear that he passed away -
he was such a lovely, kind and cheery guy. My kids viewed him as a
gentle giant with knee pads. He will always be in my thoughts. I will
really miss him.
